National Minority Donor Awareness Day is a nationwide observance to educate minorities of the desperate need for donation and transplantation within the multicultural community.
The Alabama Organ Center will celebrate NMDAD at Linn Park in Birmingham where Praise Teams representing churches from the area will share their gift of song to celebrate the importance of organ donation.
National Donor Sabbath
November 13 - 15, 2009
Regardless of religious affiliation, congregations and houses of worship across the nation will recognize the life-saving benefits of organ donation during the 2nd weekend of November. This is in honor of National Donor Sabbath, an ecumenical celebration of life that reminds congregations of their faiths’ support of donation.
Annual Update on Donation October 4-5, 2010
The Alabama Organ Center's Annual Update on Donation will be held at the Perdido Beach Resort on October 4th and 5th, 2010.
